I am here because I love to take photos. I love to capture life, personality, and everyday moments. I am married to the best man in the whole world, second only to Jesus. I have two great kids who keep me busy and love me just the way I am. What a blessing! I live in north Snohomish County, which we call God's country It is gorgeous here. When not behind the camera, I like shopping, scrapbooking, eating and spending time with my family.
Over the years, I enjoyed many compliments on photographs I had taken, but hadn't thought about sharing this passion and talent beyond my own family. I was continually encouraged by my pushy friends and family (and I say that in the nicest way) to pursue my passion. The more I explored the possibility, the more excited I became. Now I find myself on this road of creating images of your lives, in addition to my own.
I am an on-location, natural light photographer. I prefer to capture you and your family, as you are, not posed in your Sunday-best, with fresh faces, tangle-free hair, looking straight at the camera with plastic smiles. I like to capture the everyday moments that bring you joy, and that will make you smile at the memory each time you look at the photograph; the Kool-Aid smiles, the milk-mustaches, the smudged faces. I welcome the opportunity to attend your child's backyard birthday party, meet your family at the zoo to capture the wonder in your child's eyes, or record the smiles from your day at the beach. I will meet you at your family's favorite location to capture those natural moments as they happen. I think engagement photos and senior pictures are perfect excuses for a day at the park.
I love a good combination of black and white along with beautiful color and will offer both options for every session I do. My style is modern, casual, fun and fresh.
