worth the wait

05.06.11

its been 90 days since my last post. These images are from a fundraiser we did in April to help raise money for AIM (Africa Inland missions). My best friends are taking their 4 boys and moving to Chad in a few months to embark on quite an amazing journey. Chad is one of the most unreached (for Jesus) countries in the world. There are over 160 different people groups all smashed into one country. I wanted to do my part to help raise support and awareness for them. We photographed a lot of families outside in the rain, and still came up with some great shots (and raised about $1000). Take a look for yourselves. A BIG thanks to all who participated.

Mitchell lives in Port Angeles and Ashley in Seattle. They met and spent many hours on the ferry traveling back and forth to be together. Mitchell proposed on the ferry (in a tux) and the rest is history. They wanted engagement pics on the ferry. I jumped at the chance. They did not disappoint. 4-28-12 cannot come soon enough! congrats

Pictures of being pregnant are always fun to have later to look back on. This is going to be their last baby, so it was very important to capture baby Addison in the womb. Here she is with her beautiful family who can't wait to meet her.
